Anano Miminoshvili will lead Comschool’s new crash course – Sense of Illustration. Her years of experience, during which she collaborated with The New York Times, Chanel, FILA, Airbnb, Meta, Adobe, and many other companies, makes Anano’s portfolio and style particularly unique and interesting.

For Anano, spring is associated with new life. In this work, she tried to embody just that – the hope of a new beginning and the enthusiasm of finding new joy.

Christmas Gift: Stories About Seeking Connections

In 2020, Anano had the opportunity to work on several illustrations for The Washington Post’s Christmas issue. These illustrations tell stories of connection during a year of separation – via video link, with strong desire, across the country and beyond its borders.

‘The Hollywood Reporter’ is one of the significant magazines for which Anano created an illustration for an article dedicated to female composers working in Hollywood

 

 

Anano’s recent successes also include working on FILA’s 2022 summer collection, which includes T-shirts and hats with prints and embroidery.

Anano created 2 illustrations for the 7th edition of Chaos SixtyNine, which is dedicated to the world of Chanel perfumes.

Looking back on her journey, Anano thinks: “I see that I’ve gained experience and knowledge, but I think the same narrative follows, naturally, in a different quality.” And she shares one of her favorite illustrations, which she created in Mziuri:

Throughout the program, you will learn how to maintain individuality in a competitive environment, create strong concepts in the modern visual world, and enhance storytelling using key conceptual elements such as character, plot, tone, and visual style. You will explore visual problem-solving for clients and engage in the entire process of developing a creative campaign - from interpreting a brief to execution. The course is highly practical, focusing on hands-on experience. You will work through the complete campaign creation process, giving you real-world experience in addressing industry challenges.

The program is entirely based on practice-oriented learning, during which students will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the process of working on various types of projects, the correct principles of creating visuals, and design directions. They will learn from scratch the essential technical aspects of graphic editors necessary for working in different directions. By gaining technical knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator, they will learn to create visuals for various media channels, correctly analyze briefs, create mood boards, and plan design projects. Throughout the program, after each lecture, students will independently complete corresponding practical exercises. They will also receive advice/consultations on career development. At the end of the course, they will create an individual project that will tie together the portfolio created during the course.
