In this process, it’s very important to establish social connections to receive advice, resources, learn about news from professionals. Also to meet potential employers or mentors. Therefore, Lela advises you to be active on LinkedIn, share your achievements, works, or certificates.

Regarding the interview, Lela says that recently, interested candidates are given a task where you have data and need to set up infographics in Power BI. In this regard, it’s entirely up to you what information you see in the data and what you focus on. There are also often standard simple questions related to SQL. For example, Join, Primary Key, Foreign Key, Functions, Group By, Order By, and others.

"Be confident, but not proud. Show empathy and a friendly attitude. Honesty is also important. If you don't know something, say that you don't know, but you're ready to learn. Show enthusiasm and interest in the position and the company."
