The partnership between Tbilisi Communication School and Ad Black Sea continues this year as well. At the festival, you will have the opportunity to attend Commschool’s workshops, where Jonny Kvezerelidze, a lecturer on “AI in Graphic Design” and a Senior Graphic Designer, will lead the sessions.

About the Ad Black Sea Festival

Ad Black Sea is an international creativity festival that aims to connect the Black Sea region with the latest creativity in Europe. It helps creative professionals to stand out on the local, regional and international stage. After holding the first festival in 2015, it gained great popularity among the representatives of the creative world and became a distinguished event in the region. Through internationally recognized speakers and workshops, Ad Black Sea presents a platform where they discuss trends in the advertising field, future forecasts and the world’s best and most successful campaigns.

The festival is held annually in September on the Black Sea coast and consists of a 3-day program. This year, Ad Black Sea will take place in Batumi on September 12-14. It will bring together leading industry professionals, and you will have the opportunity to listen to their inspirational presentations and panel discussions, attend interactive sessions and practical workshops.

Commschool x Ad Black Sea

Commschool offers digital courses in technology, design, marketing, data, and other areas to interested individuals. For us, as an educational company, the integration of AI is important for all our courses. We constantly strive to keep up with trends and accordingly, we add a learning module on the use of AI in most of our course programs. We are also creating completely new courses that will be entirely based on the use of AI. A recent innovation at Commschool is the course “AI in Graphic Design,” which will be led by Jonny Kvezerelidze.

Jonny Kvezerelidze has been active in the digital design field for 7 years. Over the past 4 years, he has been actively mastering artificial intelligence tools, which he successfully uses in his work. Currently, Jonny works at the creative agency Redberry. His experience also includes the advertising agency Kraken, where he worked on several interesting projects. Among them was the outstanding first AI-generated postage stamp in Georgia for the Georgian Post, created using Stable Diffusion.

Based on his prior experience, Jonny believes that AI is an integral part of the future of the design industry.

At the Ad Black Sea festival, our main focus is on AI and its capabilities, which Jonny Kvezerelidze will present in an interesting master class. In the Commschool AI Creative Zone space, you will be able to experience the capabilities of AI in design. Within the workshops, participants will have the opportunity to have their own sketches, illustrations or ideas turned into reality by Jonny using Stable Diffusion. Attendees will have the chance to get acquainted with the future of design, and experience the results of the intersection of AI and human creativity.

The workshop will be held on September 12-13, from 11:00-12:00 and 13:00-15:00.

In addition, on the third day of the Ad Black Sea international festival, Jonny Kvezerelidze will discuss how AI is transforming the design industry, what we can expect in the future, how global trends are translated into the Georgian reality, and how this is contributing to the development of the industry. Participants will be able to personally experience the capabilities of artificial intelligence on site through a workshop using the speaker’s brief and artificial intelligence tools.
